R-Credits
R-Credits are the shared usage currency inside AVS.
They apply across:
- editor-side AI usage
- uploads
- generation
- render jobs
- public API execution
Unused credits roll over each billing period.

Public API costs
Public API jobs use the same credit balance as the rest of AVS.
prompt -> mp4can consume upload credits, 3 R-Credits for AI creation, and 5 R-Credits for the render.json -> mp4can consume upload credits and 5 R-Credits for the render.- Imported remote asset URLs are treated as uploaded inputs and charged by asset type.

How resolution affects video generation
Veo video generation scales with resolution. The base cost at 720p is 10 R-Credits. Higher resolutions apply a multiplier:
- 720p — 1x (10 credits)
- 1080p — 2x (20 credits)
- 4K — 4x (40 credits)
Getting credits
- Free tier — Verify your email to claim 30 free R-Credits (one-time).
- Subscriptions — Credits are added automatically each billing period and roll over.
- Visit Settings → Subscription to manage your plan and view your current balance.
Where pricing appears in the app
The current product surfaces pricing through:
- the billing tab in settings
- top-bar credit display in the editor
- API cost documentation
- upload and generation flows that debit the same shared balance
